No drive without a transmission – the demands on vehicles and machines are too diverse to do without an individual adaptation of speeds and torques or the bundling of power.
With the familiar three-gear double-clutch transmission by the Canadian company, KDS, the distribution gearbox by Stiebel-Getriebebau GmbH & Co.KG and the planetary transmission by PULSGETRIEBE GmbH & Co. KG, Sensor-Technik Wiedemann GmbH (STW) has the components of three strong partners on board – the permanently-excited synchronized machines of the powerMELA construction series from STW can be combined with all three of these transmissions. As a result, drive solutions with a favorable degree of efficiency are created in modular form – with a variable transmission ratio without interruption of the tractive force during gear changes (KDS), a uniformly high transmission ratio (PULSGETRIEBE) or totalized torques (Stiebel-Getriebebau).
Within the scope of the MobiliTec in Hanover, STW is displaying a combination of its E-machine powerMELA with 140 kW continuous output and the planetary transmission from PULSGETRIEBE. This transmission offers an integrated mechanical brake as an additional function.
