Data is the basis of digitization and must be acquired and recorded as raw data on the machine. Machine and vehicle data from the CAN bus, and from internal and external analog and digital sensors builds this basis. After appropriate processing of the data, the condition of the machines and the components can be monitored and assessed. This data logging can be utilized for digital maintenance concepts and solutions such as condition monitoring or predictive maintenance.
GPS position data, values from the acceleration sensor and the analog and digital multifunction inputs and outputs can also be used to record location, efficiency and utilization parameters. Our telemetry module can be configured as a data logger for permanent storage of operating data and as a black box. Thanks to event-driven recording, the data logger records only the data that is really needed. With extensive data analysis possible at the machine, this significantly reduces the required data storage and the amount of data to be transmitted.
